Botswana Fibre Networks Awards P1.64 Million Telecommunications Support Contract

On 4 November, Botswana Fibre Networks published an adjudication decision approving Dimension Data (Botswana) Proprietary Limited for technical support, maintenance and repair of Calix FTTx telecommunications systems, including hardware and software. The 36-month contract was awarded at BWP1,640,992.61, inclusive of VAT, with the award decision dated 2 November. The contract creates opportunities for telecom equipment suppliers, network specialists and IT service providers.
